5 FUNCTIONS

Water Dispersant

WD-40’s HIGH ATTRACTION TO METAL allows a perfect moisture-proof barrier to be formed. WD-40 penetrates beneath the moisture on metal repelling it and completely covering all surfaces.

Thus WD-40 quickly eliminates electrical short circuits caused by moisture.

Corrosion Inhibitor

THE FILM FORMED BY WD-40 ENSURES PROTECTION

against water, humidity and their corrosive effects. WD-40 moisture displacement capability also thoroughly “dries” the treated surface giving ultimate protection against future corrosion problems.

Cleaning

ON ANY NON POROUS SURFACE, WD-40 EASILY REMOVES grease grime, and grunge. WD-40 penetrates beneath the dirt eliminating it, without depositing any corrosive agents.

WD-40 can be used on all metallic and plastic surfaces.

Penetrate

WD-40 PENETRATES AND FREES JAMMED PARTS, loosening rusted, corroded or frozen mechanisms. The extreme fluidity of WD-40 allows it to quickly penetrate by capillary action into the finest irregularities of the metal surface and lift rust and corrosion.

The strong surface attraction of WD-40 to metal and its lubricating properties, ensure continued smooth functioning of the freed parts.

Lubricant

ONE OF THE MAIN INGREDIENTS OF WD-40 IS AN ACTIVE AND PERMANENT LUBRICANT. WD-40 contains no silicone, lanoline or any other additive which would attract dust or dirt.

Parts and mechanisms are thus cleanly lubricated.
